What to Expect: Concrete Lifting

So, you've done the wise thing and called Ward Insulation & Concrete Lifting to level your sunken concrete. Congratulations! You'll be so glad you did. But now that you've gotten in touch, what happens next? Let me walk you through it.

We've worked hard to make our process as easy on you — the customer — as possible. From first phone call to closing paperwork, you can rest assured that our team will be friendly, straightforward and communicate regularly with you. No beating around the bush.

If we're running more than 15 minutes late, we will call you! If we meet unforeseen challenges, we'll tell you right away. If we can find a way to make the job cheaper or save you a headache, we will. That's just who we are. We didn't get that A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau for being just okay!

Ready to get that concrete fixed up? Here's what you can expect from start to finish.

1. Schedule a consultation

Every concrete lifting project is unique. Some jobs (like raising a driveway slab) are relatively simple, while others (like lifting a house's foundation) require more advance planning. This is why we start each of our concrete lifting projects with a consultation.

During your consultation, one of our technicians will visit with you, get the lay of the land, and measure the square footage of the work area, before strategizing a way forward.

2. Get a quote

Once your consultant has gathered all the details he/she needs to know, they will develop a quote that reflects the size and complexity of the job, building in the cost of labor and materials like polyurethane foam (for the lifting process). Generally our office will give you a call within a day or two of that fact-finding consultation.

During this phone call, we will also schedule work days based on availability and your scheduling needs. We will work with you to make it happen! The average concrete lifting job shouldn't require you to take time off work. In fact, concrete lifting is the most efficient solution out there!

3. Watch the magic happen

On the scheduled work day, a team of two to three installers will arrive at your home (right on time!) to raise your sunken concrete. Like we said before, if something will delay the team by more than 15 minutes, they will get in touch. We know you don't have time to waste!

Expect to see our technicians preparing the space, drilling a small penny-sized hole into the affected area and injecting foam through a tube under your slab. All in all, the average residential concrete lifting job takes just an hour or two.

4. Share your experience

After your project wraps, expect a call from one of our administrators to collect payment, complete any outstanding paperwork and conduct a quick customer survey. We use your responses to improve our process and service offering for future customers.

Feeling really excited about the work we did? Write us a review on Facebook or on Google. It means the world to us!
