ABOUT US

Ward Insulation has been helping families in Colorado and Wyoming make sustainable improvements to their homes since 2008. From day one, our desire has been to provide the highest level of hometown service to our customers, while also leading our industry in areas of sustainability and technical innovation.

Here's what that looks like.

COMPANY

WHAT WE STAND FOR

Efficient. Professional. Transparent. These are the words our customers have been using to describe Ward since we opened our doors nearly a decade ago.

There is nothing we want more than to make your experience working with us a pleasant one, which is why we promise to always be on time, act with honesty and integrity, and complete your project efficiently.

We didn't get that A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau for being "just okay."

MISSION

OUR MISSION

We continuously strive to make sustainable improvements to homes and communities so that they are safer, more comfortable and energy efficient while engaging our team members in continuous learning and personal growth.

Carter is a fourth-generation Wyomingite who values entrepreneurship, hard work, and community service. After earning a degree in business management, Carter started his first company, a home remodel business, in 2006. This foundational experience, combined with his passion for sustainability and responsible business, led him to open Ward Insulation — the premier insulation and concrete lifting company in Southeastern Wyoming.

Carter is active in the Cheyenne community, and considers volunteerism to be extremely rewarding. Through Ward Insulation, Carter sponsors Cheyenne Frontier
Days — an event he's been participating in since the age of 13 — along with Habitat for Humanity, Comes Shelter, Climb Wyoming,
and a multitude of others.

In his free time, Carter enjoys sports, dirt bike racing, and the rodeo, alongside his wife Logan and his young daughter Declynn.

CARTER WARD

President

If you call the office, you are most likely going to speak with Chelsea, Ward Insulation’s office manager. Chelsea has a passion for entrepreneurship, business development, and customer service. One of the most rewarding times of her day is when she gets to talk with customers who are happier in their home after they have realized the value of the products Ward Insulation offers.

A transplant from Nebraska, she lives between Cheyenne and the Nebraska state line with her husband, three daughters, and a variety of animals. When she’s not answering phones and taking care of business, Chelsea can be found out with her horses or in the kitchen whipping up a new recipe (depending on the wind that day).

Chris is BPI Certified (Building Performance Institute) as a Building Analyst Professional. His interests included watching his children play sports, shooting pool, home improvement projects, cars, motorcycles, and watching his younger brother midget and sprint car race.

SUSTAINABILITY

SUSTAINABILITY

At Ward Insulation, we use only the most environmentally-responsible products and techniques, and are continually searching for ways to further "green" our process.

We feel that it is everyone's responsibility to be good stewards of the environment, which is why we bear the burden of research and carefully vet every product we use for environmental and social impact.

Here are a few examples of the quality products we use:

  • Lapolla 4th Generation Spray Foam has no VOCs and a Global Warming Potential of 1 (where others easily reach 1,000).

  • Certainteed's Sustainable Fiberglass Insulation is made from
    post-consumer recycled glass.

  • Our concrete lifting foam material is comprised of 40-60% recycled material.
