What's in Our Spray Foam? Nothing Nasty.

July 24, 2019

At Ward Insulation, we're pros at installing just about every type of insulation in the industry. But of all the products we've used, 9 times out of 10, spray foam performs the best. It insulates better per inch than fiberglass or cellulose insulation and does a great job of keeping dust and allergens from entering the home.

But technical performance isn't the only consideration we have when selecting an insulation product. We also consider things like product longevity, price and — last but not least — toxicity.

We selected Lapolla Industries' FOAM-LOK 2000-4G closed-cell, spray applied foam as our insulator of choice for its superior energy economy and durability. But what really sealed the deal is the fact that FOAM-LOK has an extremely low VOC rate. Any room in which this spray foam is used can be re-entered just two hours after application!

Additionally, our spray foam insulation installers are trained to properly store, transport, mix and apply FOAM-LOK spray foam, requiring that every safety precaution is met and the job is done with care.
