Ward Insulation Sponsors Barrel Racing at Cheyenne Frontier Days

We are thrilled to announce that we'll be supporting barrel racing as a Cheyenne Frontier Days Copper Boot Sponsor for the fifth year in a row. I guess you could say it's not our first rodeo! *ba-dum ching!*

The world's largest outdoor rodeo, Cheyenne Frontier Days is a major part of life in Cheyenne. Every year, more than 240,000 fans descend on our little corner of Wyoming for bull riding, steer roping and barrel racing, eager to see contestants compete for $1 million in prize money. It's major. And we are delighted to participate!

"Sponsoring Cheyenne Frontier Days has been our favorite way to give back to our community for several years now," said Ward Insulation owner Carter Ward. For many Cheyenne locals, Carter included, volunteering at Frontier Days is simply a no brainer. As a 4th-generation Wyoming resident and descendant of an early homesteader, events like the Frontier Days Pancake Breakfast, Chuckwagon Cookoff and sea of cowboy hats bring to mind a simpler time.

"I've been volunteering at the Cheyenne Frontier Days parade and grand entry for the past 20 years," said Carter. "It's always a joy to see our western way of life celebrated every year. Watching kids light up when we let them come pet a horse or pop them up on the saddle for a family pic...there's a purity about it."

"Cheyenne really rallies around Frontier Days...so many volunteers come together to put on the 'World's Largest Outdoor Rodeo' and welcome tourists to our town. That servant mindset runs deep."
